2019-2021 SCK MLS Board of Directors Candidates
SCK MLS presents the 2019-2021 Board of Director Candidates. There are three candidates for two openings this election cycle, and those candidates are listed below.
A Candidate Forum will be open to the general membership on August 16, 2018, at 10:00 am in the RSCK Conference Center. This forum will give everyone the opportunity to meet the candidates. There will also be a brief question and answer session during the forum. This is not an interview process, but an informal opportunity for the members to get to know the candidates.
Polls will open on August 27, 2018 at 8:00 am and will close on September 11, 2018 at 9:00 am. Results will be announced at the SCK MLS Annual Meeting on September 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m.
Phil Graves has been in real estate just over three years. In his short time in the industry, Phil has become a top agent within Keller Williams Signature Partners, LLC and serves on the Associate Leadership Council at the firm. His role on the ALC is to look over brokerage financials and to help other agents in the office grow their businesses. Phil also teaches classes in the brokerage and is currently in the process of becoming a top instructor with Keller Williams Realty International.
Prior to real estate, Phil held a variety of senior management roles in the oil and gas industry. He was the Sales Director for a large oil and gas publication and was tasked with the development and implementation of a new digital platform to bring additional profit streams to the company. He also ran Permian Basin operations for an oil and gas firm in Texas, streamlined their logistics and analyzed opportunities for expansion in Texas and Oklahoma.

Phil has a degree in Integrated Marketing Communications from Wichita State University and has lived in Wichita for the majority of the last 25 years.
Doug comes to the real estate industry with diverse experience. He started his career with corporate restaurant management, retail, construction and 10 years as the general manager of one of the largest metal recycling companies in the Midwest. He is currently an associate broker at ERA. He served one year on the RSCK Community Involvement Committee and currently serves on the RSCK Grievance Committee.
C. Linda Mason
C. Linda Mason has been a licensed real estate agent for 22 years. She previously served a term on the SCK MLS committee, several terms on the RSCK Professional Development Committee, is currently an RSCK instructor, and is a Leadership Academy Training Program Graduate (L.E.A.D.). She is currently a committee member of the “Making Spirits Bright” wine tasting fundraiser for the Wichita Children’s Home and the WABA Builders Care Foundation. She is a former Board member of the Wichita Area Builders Association, and previously held the position of WABA’s Chairman of the Sales and Marketing Council. She says she “believes the MLS is the best and most cost effective tool the REALTORS® have to help them do their job, so (she) will always be open to ideas of improvements.”
