About REALTORS® of South Central Kansas

Established in 1921 - 100+ Years of Excellence

The REALTORS® of South Central Kansas (RSCK) is a local affiliate of the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) and is the largest REALTOR Association in the state of Kansas with more than 2500 members. Our membership is composed of residential and commercial REALTORS®, brokers, salespeople, property managers, appraisers, counselors, and others who are engaged in all aspects of the real estate industry. Our members have met state requirements to sell real estate, but, most importantly, each member has also pledged to adhere to a strict Code of Ethics, promising to conduct their day-to-day business with the foremost concern for their clients.   1. ADVOCACY: RSCK creates a culture of active REALTOR® advocates who invest in RPAC, and positively impact critical local planning and regulations, elections, political and legislative matters affecting real estate.

History

  1. April 27, 1921 – Board of Directors charters the Wichita Real Estate Board.
  2. November 10, 1964 – Board of Directors approves a change in name from Wichita Real Estate Board to Wichita Board of REALTORS®.
  3. May 2, 1977 – Board of Directors approves a name change from Wichita Board of REALTORS® to Wichita Metropolitan Area Board of REALTORS®.
  4. January 24, 1989 – Board of Directors approves a name change from Wichita Metropolitan Area Board of REALTORS® to Wichita Area Association of REALTORS®.
  5. July 7, 2015 – The Arkansas City Board of REALTORS, Butler County Board of REALTORS®, Newton Area Board of REALTORS®, the Winfield Board of REALTORS®, and the Wichita Area Association of REALTORS® merge to form REALTORS® of South Central Kansas.
  6. April 27, 2021 - REALTORS® of South Central Kansas celebrates its 100 year anniversary.
  7. July 1, 2024 - RSCK merges with Great Plains Association of REALTORS® (GPAR). The merge resulted in the addition of 13 counties and the Saline County Council to RSCK.
