How can I apply for the South-Central Kansas MLS Board of Directors?

The SCK MLS Board of Directors is the governing body for the for-profit wholly-owned subsidiary of the REALTORS of South Central Kansas, South Central Kansas MLS. The Board is entrusted with the crucial task of overseeing the actions of the MLS and CIE committees and determine which MLS and CIE products and services are offered to members to serve their business.

To apply for the SCK MLS Board of Directors, Nominees must be REALTOR® members in good standing and must meet the following criteria:

- REALTOR® or Appraiser members of SCK MLS
- Current on all dues and assessments
- Not under suspension
- Because of the company limitation in the Bylaws (Article XI, Section 5) of “No more than two members of a firm may serve as an elected director, the following companies will not be eligible for an SCK MLS director seat:
The Nominating Committee will also consider:
- Business acumen
- Years of real estate experience
- Education and certification
- Demonstrated leadership skills

What can I expect after I submit my application?

3. The SCK MLS Nominating Committee and RSCK Leadership Development Committee will convene to review the submitted applications, verify candidate qualifications, and inform applicants of their eligibility.

5. Voting polls for SCK MLS Members will open on August 25th at 9:00 a.m. and will close on September 10th at 9:00 a.m.

6. The results for the 2026 Board of Directors will be announced during the SCK MLS Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 11th.
