Now Accepting Candidate Applications for the Board of Directors
RSCK's Leadership Development Committee will meet the first part of June to start the nominee selection process for a Director to serve a three-year term beginning January 1, 2018.
The new RSCK Director will be elected during the online election that opens on September 1, 2017 and closes on September 20, 2017. The results will be announced at the RSCK Annual Meeting on Thursday, September 21st at 9:00 am.
Directors serve as the governing body of the Association, establishing policy and future direction on behalf of the membership. The time commitment of Directors varies from year to year depending on current issues, future direction and their program of work. View the Board of Director's Job Description.
Nominees must be REALTOR® members in good standing and must meet the following criteria:
- Voting members of the Association
- Current on all dues and assessments
- Not under suspension
The Nominating Committee will consider:
- Business acumen
- Years of real estate experience
- Education and certification
- Participation in Association activities
- Demonstrated leadership skills
In addition, after review of the applications submitted, the Leadership Development Committee will conduct interviews before making the final selection of Director Candidates to be placed on the ballot for election.
